Catching public transport

Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school. CDC NSW (formerly Forest Coach Lines) is the bus company that transports our students in the morning and afternoon. Please go to the CDC website for more information and to view the timetable.

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

Parking on school grounds

Please be aware that parking spaces in the school carpark are limited. To ensure everyone’s safety, we kindly ask parents to:

• Use parking spaces considerately and avoid double parking or blocking access points.
• Be mindful of all pedestrians walking in the carpark; always drive slowly and cautiously.
• Walk your children all the way to the school gate and do not allow them to cross the road or carpark alone.
• Follow all parking signs and school staff directions during busy times to maintain order and safety.

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of our school buses, we kindly ask for your cooperation regarding the use of the "Kiss and Drop" zone.

• The "Kiss and Drop" zone is designated specifically for parents to quickly drop off or pick up students.
• When this area is blocked or used for extended parking, it can interfere with the safe and timely movement of school buses.
• Buses need clear access to these areas to safely drop off and pick up students without delays.
• Blocking the bus zone can cause congestion, increase safety risks for children, and may lead to delays in bus schedules.

To help us maintain a safe and efficient environment:

• Please use the designated "Kiss and Drop" area only for quick drop-offs or pick-ups.
• Avoid parking or waiting in the bus zone at all times.
• Follow all school signage and staff instructions during arrival and dismissal times.
