To celebrate NAIDOC Week all students will get the opportunity to participate in a "Connecting to Country". Students will be able to learn about local Aboriginal culture and history through an on country experience with Mr Steven Skinner and Aunty Deb Elliott. Students will participate in dance, story-telling, a bush tucker walk and find artifacts that share the history of the local land.
Students will travel via bus to Arrawarra Beach, then Yarrawarra for a bush tucker experience and walk back to school for other activities.
Parents are welcome to met us at Arrawarra and or Yarrawarra to join in on the wonderful opportunity to connect with our students, learn about local Aboriginal culture, and share in the richness of our community's history together.
